Carmel dumplings
Carmelize: ½ cup sugar to a golden brown
- Add 2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoon butter
Boil this mixture 7 minutes
Batter
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- l cup thin cream
- l teaspoon vanilla
Drop by teaspoons into bowling mixture. Put onto a cookie sheet.
Bake 20 minutes @ 350
