BUTTERY DATE BALLS
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS In saucepan melt butter, add sugar and dates. Cook until boils, stirring. Remove from heat, add milk, salt and eggs. Return to boil for 2 min.-stirring. Stir in vanilla, nuts and cereal. Chill completely (1 1/2 hrs) shape into balls, roll in coconut and place on wax paper. Store in loosely covered container. Makes 6 doz. From Grammy Dunning.
