LETTUCE With GARLIC CROUTONS
INGREDIENTS:
DIR: Trim lettuce and pull leaves apart. Rinse and pat dry. Trim crust off bread. Cut into cubes. (about 1 cp) Heat 3 T oil in skillet, when hot, add bread and garlic. Cook shaking and stirring until browned all over. Drain. (do not discard garlic) Serve lettuce with croutons on top. For dressing, mix mustard, salt, pepper and vinegar. Add 3 T oil, beating briskly. Pour over salad and toss.
