Macaroni-tomato soup
Put water in medium saucepan, add salt, bring to boil, add macaroni, cook 7 to 10 minutes until macaroni is tender, drain, set aside. Put tomato soup in bowl, add alum, and stir. (it will fizz) put macaroni back on stove, add milk, butter, pepper and soup, and heat thoroughly. Serve.
