DRY SOUP MIX

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS Combine dry milk, cornstarch, bouillon, onion flakes, pepper, basil and thyme. Mix thoroughly and store in an airtight container. Makes 1 qt dry mix. The equivalent of nine 10 oz cans of condensed soup. Variations: For cream of chicken, etc: add those ingredients. For tomato soup, add tomato juice instead of water. To substitute for 1 can of soup, combine 1/3 cp dry mix with 1 1/4 cp water in saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.

Use this way as soup in casserole. To use as soup, add 1 1/4 cp more water to soup consistency.
