TOMATO BISQUE
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS Stew tomatoes with celery. Add soda and strain. (There should be 2 cps.) Melt butter, blend in flour, slowly add milk. When thickened, add white pepper, salt and tomato pulp. Blend and serve immediately. (Garnish with popcorn.)
This is very similar to how Mom made bisque. She didn't thicken the bisque.
