KING ARTHUR'S BREAD

INGREDIENTS:

DIR: Pour milk into mixing bowl. Stir 1T of honey, yeast and whole wheat flour.

Cover and let work for 20 min or all day. (put the dough on YOUR schedule.)

Mix in rest of honey, egg, salt, butter or oil and 3 cp flour (1/2 at a time),

stirring until dough begins to pull away from bowl. Place on board. Knead for

8-10 min until smooth and elastic. Divide into two pieces, shape and place in

2 greased 8.5X 4.5 bread pans. Let rise until doubled in bulk- 1 to 1 1/5 hours.

Bake (350) for 35-40 min. Rolls (375) 15-20 min.
