PURITAN COFFEE CAKE
INGREDIENTS:
DIRECTIONS Grease and flour 10 in tube pan. Combine filling: 2 T cake mix, nuts, brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside. Pour remaining cake mix, sour cream, oil, sugar, water and eggs into mixer bowl. Mix a high for 2 min. Turn 2/3 of batter into pan. Sprinkle with filling. Spoon remaining batter into pan. Bake (375) 45-55 min or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool right side up in pan. Remove. For glaze, blend confections sugar and milk. Drizzle over cake, OR just sift confectioners sugar over top of cake.
