SOPAPILLAS

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add to cooled scalded milk. Add dry ingredients and shortening, mixing well. Add more flour, if needed for proper consistency. Knead dough 15-20 min. Set aside for 10-15 min. Roll dough 1/4 in thick and cut in 4 by 2 inch pieces. Fry in hot oil. Serve with honey.
